QCPD adjudged Best Police District in 118th NCRPO Police Service Anniversary Celebration; bags 14 other unit, individual awards

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) was adjudged as the Best Police District and bagged 14 other unit and individual awards out of 29 categories during the celebration of 118th Police Service Anniversary held today August 13, 2019, at the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Grandstand in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

QCPD Director, Police Brigadier General Joselito T Esquivel Jr said, aside from being the Best Police District, the QCPD also bagged the following unit awards: Highest Performance Rating, Most Number of Surrenderers, Most Number of Arrested Violators of City Ordinance, PCP 2 of Fairview Police Station (PS 5) as the Best Police Community Precinct, Best District Mobile Force Battalion, Best District for Accomplishment in Project Double Barrel, Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) as the Best Numbered Police Station for Accomplishment in Project District Level, and Eastwood Police Station (PS 12) with Most Number of Cleared Barangay District Level.

In the individual awards category, Police Colonel Arthur V Bisnar was awarded as the Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operation, Police Major Sandie Caparroso from Batasan Police Station (PS 6) as the Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Operation, Police Executive Master Sergeant Jose Amy I Yerro from Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) as the Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operation, Police Corporal Alvin B Tarectecan from Tactical Motorized Unit (TMU) as the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operation, Police Chief Master Seargent Edmundo T Agana Jr from Anonas Police Station (PS 9) as the Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration and Police Staff Sergeant Ronallee B Santos from Masambong Police Station (PS 2) as the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration.

The awarding ceremony was graced by the Philippine National Police Chief, PGEN Oscar D Albayalde as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

PBGEN Esquivel Jr was very grateful and delighted with these awards and he thanked the men and women of QCPD for their concerted efforts in the operation and administrative aspects which led in these laudable awards and recognition. He also thanked PNP Chief, PGEN Oscar D Albayalde and NCRPO Director, PMGEN Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar for the trust and confidence to QCPD. He said, these awards are dedicated to the people of Quezon City for their unending support and to the Local Government Unit (LGU) under the leadership of Hon. City Mayor Joy Belmonte. “Asahan po ninyo na patuloy kaming magpupursige upang mapangalagaan ang katahimikan at kaayusan sa lungsod bilang sukli sa inyong suporta at patuloy na magbibigay karangalan sa ating Lungsod Quezon”.
