QCPD feted NCRPO’s Outstanding Police District in PCR of the year, bags 4 other awards

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Joselito T. Esquivel Jr said, the QCPD feted as the NCRPO’s Outstanding Police District in PCR of the year and bagged four (4) other awards during the culminating activity of the 24th Police Community Relations (PCR) month celebration held today which coincided with the Monday Flag Raising ceremony at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The celebration was graced by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director, PMGEN Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar and other key officers of the NCRPO.

PBGEN Esquivel Jr said, aside from the recognition as the NCRPO’s Outstanding Police District in PCR, the QCPD also bagged four other unit and individual awards.

The individual awards were given to PLTCOL Teresita V Escamillan as the Outstanding PCR Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) and PCPT Ricardo Gomez as the Outstanding PCR Junior PCO of the year while Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) under PLTCOL Rossel Cejas was adjudged as the Outstanding City Police Station in PCR.

Meanwhile, the Confederate Sentinels of God (CSG) was also awarded as Most Supportive Civilian Volunteers Organization/Non-Government Organization (CVO/NGO) in peacekeeping efforts in maintaining peace and order within the jurisdiction of NCRPO.

PBGEN Esquivel Jr said, the awards will certainly be a boost to the morale of QCPD personnel. “Ito ay inaalay namin sa mamamayan ng Lungsod Quezon dahil ito ay nakamit namin sa kanilang suporta at tulong lalo na ng ating Lokal na Pamahalaan sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng ating mahal na Mayor Joy Belmonte. Ang QCPD ay patuloy na maglilingkod ng tapat sa ating Lungsod Quezon.” he added.
